Calathea roseopicta 'Shinestar' is a tropical plant known for its intricate feather like patterns of silver and cream with tinges of pink, while the undersides reveal a rich burgundy shade. Like other Calatheas, its leaves move in response to light, folding up at night and opening during the day.

How to care for your Calathea - 

Water: They must be kept in damp soil at all times, but definitely do not allow the plant to sit in water or in very wet soil. Think little and often as a watering policy.

Light: Calathea need plenty of diffused light however direct sunlight will cause the leaves to fade and lose their markings.

Humidity: They enjoy humidity, brown leaf tips indicate that humidity is too low.

Temperature: They like warmth, about 20 degrees C.
