Tillandsia, also known as air plants, are part of the bromeliad family. They flourish as epiphytes throughout South America. They thrive in humid settings such as terrariums and also adapt well to homes in moist places like kitchens or bathrooms. Mist or soak them a few times weekly. After spraying or soaking, shake off surplus water to avoid rot. Ideally, use rainwater for best results.
